How to Save Watermark-Free TikTok Videos on iPad

The TikTok app on iPad works basically the same as on iPhone, and ReelGrab works just as well on a tablet. Since iPad has a bigger screen, Split View and the Files app make the whole process a bit smoother than doing it on a phone.

Step 1: Copy the video link

Open TikTok on your iPad, find the video you want, tap the Share icon, and choose Copy link.

Step 2: Use Split View to open Safari alongside TikTok

iPad lets you run two apps side by side. Swipe up from the bottom to bring up the Dock, then drag Safari to one side of the screen so TikTok and your browser are both visible without switching back and forth:

  1. Keep TikTok open on one side to keep browsing and copying links
  2. Use Safari on the other side to open ReelGrab, paste the link, and tap Download

Step 3: Download and save

Tap MP4 HD · No watermark or MP3 audio, and Safari will start the download.

Where do downloaded files go?

On iPad, Safari downloads land in the built-in Files app, typically under "On My iPad → Downloads." Open Files, go to the Browse tab, and check the Downloads location.

If you want the video in your Photos app instead: long-press the file in Files, choose Share → Save Video, and it'll move over to your camera roll.

FAQ

Do I need a special iPad version of the tool? No — ReelGrab is a web tool, so opening it in Safari or Chrome on iPad works fine, and the layout automatically adapts to a tablet-sized screen.

Is Split View required? No, it just makes things smoother. Switching back and forth in a single Safari window works fine too.
